Cut accurate flange, ring, and irregular shaped gaskets with the M3 Rotary-Style Gasket Cutter. Designed primarily for non-metallic gasket materials such as cork, fiber, and rubber, up to ¼" thick. Cuts gaskets with a face width of ¼" to 7"; from 2" I.D. to 22" O.D. Accessory scale bars (not included) extend cutting range from 22" I.D. to 42" O.D., or 42" I.D. to 62" O.D. Mounts on a vise or clamps to a piece of angle iron.

How do rotary-style gasket cutters work?

Rotary-style gasket cutters use two cutting discs to cut the material as it rotates around a center spindle. Set the scale bar to the desired outside diameter, punch a guide hole in the material, and secure it on the spindle. Lower the top cutting disc, then turn the hand crank or activate the motor while applying pressure. What is the difference between the M3 Motorized M3, and SM4 Rotary-Style Gasket Cutters?

The M3 is hand-cranked and mounts in a vise or clamps to angle iron, making it suitable for fixed or mobile use with non-metallic gasket materials. The Motorized M3 is bench-mounted and powered for faster, repetitive cutting of non-metallic gasket materials. The SM4 is a larger, bench-mounted manual cutter designed for both metallic and non-metallic materials.

What size gaskets can the Allpax M3 Rotary-Style Gasket Cutter cut?

The standard M3 cuts gaskets from 2 inch ID to 22 inch OD, while the metric model cuts from 51 mm ID to 56 cm OD. Both handle gasket face widths from 1/4 inch to 7 inches (6.4 mm to 18 cm). Optional scale bars extend the maximum outside diameter to 62 inches or 158 cm.

What materials can the Allpax M3 Rotary-Style Gasket Cutter cut?

The M3 is designed primarily for non-metallic gasket materials such as rubber, cork, and fiber. Cutting metallic gasket materials is generally not recommended.

How thick of a gasket material can the M3 Rotary-Style Gasket Cutter cut?

The M3 can cut gasket materials up to 1/4 inch, or 6.4 mm, thick depending on the material. Thick or tough materials may require more than one pass or cutting from both sides.

Can the M3 Rotary-Style Gasket Cutter cut irregular shapes?

Yes. Remove the scale bar and manually guide the gasket material through the cutting discs along the marked outline. An additional person may be helpful when guiding larger pieces of material.
