Cut accurate flange and ring gaskets with the Metric M3 Rotary-Style Gasket Cutter. Designed primarily for non-metallic gasket materials such as cork, fiber, and rubber, up to 6.4 mm thick. Cuts gaskets with a face width of 6.4 mm to 18 cm; from 51 mm I.D. to 56 cm O.D. Accessory scale bars (not included) extend cutting range from 56 cm I.D. to 107 cm O.D., or 107 cm I.D. to 158 cm O.D. Mounts on a vise or clamps to a piece of angle iron.

How do rotary-style gasket cutters work?

Rotary-style gasket cutters use two cutting discs to cut the material as it rotates around a center spindle. Set the scale bar to the desired outside diameter, punch a guide hole in the material, and secure it on the spindle. Lower the top cutting disc, then turn the hand crank or activate the motor while applying pressure. The M3 is hand-cranked and mounts in a vise or clamps to angle iron, making it suitable for fixed or mobile use with non-metallic gasket materials. The Motorized M3 is bench-mounted and powered for faster, repetitive cutting of non-metallic gasket materials. The SM4 is a larger, bench-mounted manual cutter designed for both metallic and non-metallic materials.
